This plan is ideal for someone planning to do up to a 10 mile hike, it provides daily workouts, along with incorporating rest, strength and cross training. This plan is great for someone looking to get into hiking or has already completed some hikes. This plan provides a great balance and also incorporates rest weeks after every 3 weeks of training on the 4th week. Training volume is between 4-7 hours per week with modifications and alternative workout options.
