This plan is ideal for seasoned master's 40+ aged riders who are looking for a 12 week hybrid training plan to finish a 50 mile to 100k gravel or mountain xc bike race. It has ample rest and recovery options built into the plan to support master's riders and a great mix of short and long endurance rides, short and longer intervals, strength and rest days incorporated for a balanced plan. Rest weeks are built in every 4 weeks and on the 12th week a race day is built in for those riders planning to race. This plan is based on RPE, watts and incorporates heart rate. It can also be used for both indoor and outdoor training rides. This plan contains training with power (watts) and RPE targets that can be downloaded to your Garmin to be used indoors or outdoors or on other compatible applications. RPE is also noted in the plan.
